Kurt has quite the background:  Radio personality, where he worked at WTID Country, Top 40 97Star, all sports WGH and Eagle 97 Country; beach lifeguard; TV host; and actor, though he admits “The movies I was in, such as 'Psycho Kickboxer' and 'The Satan Killer' are not Oscar worthy,” though he does like to mention he is actually on IMDB (3 times! Kurt Etheridge, Kurt W. Etheridge and Kurt Ethridge).  He also appeared as a British Bank Robber in the "Daring Capers" TV series. When it comes to his first love, DJing, Kurt likes to say, “I’m an interactive kind of guy, and I love to dance!”  Kurt is high-energy and likes to “get the crowd involved.”  He is known for creating unique, customized interactive elements for weddings, corporate functions, and other events. Kurt has been DJ'ing since college, where he started his own DJ Service: B-Sharp. For 20 years, 1999 - 2019, he was a premier entertainer for Astro Entertainment, based in Virginia Beach.  "A move to Northern Virginia" prompted Kurt to "Bring B-Sharp back!" Now, in 2025, he's back in Virginia Beach, where it all started. Kurt’s goal for a party is “to super serve the client. To entertain. A nice mix of music and interactivity. Involve the crowd and make the guests the stars." I enjoy what I do, and it shows. I often hear 'Wow, you had a good time, and so did we!'
